Designed as a post-mounted stair handrail, this railing is installed directly onto the stair treads or landing rather than mounted along a wall. It is an excellent solution for open staircases, interior steps and locations where a traditional wall-mounted handrail is not suitable.
Every handrail is individually forged and textured by hand. The organic forged surface resembles natural wood and tree branches, while the decorative curled ends add an elegant sculptural detail.
This is not a mass-produced railing. Each piece carries subtle variations created during the forging and hand-finishing process, making every handrail unique.
Post-Mounted Design
The handrail is supported by strong 1-inch posts mounted directly to the stairs. This freestanding/post-mounted construction makes it suitable for staircases where there is no adjacent wall or where you want the handrail itself to become an architectural feature.
The overall height of the handrail after installation is approximately 36 inches / 91.4 cm.
Adjustable Posts - Fits Different Stair Angles
One of the most important features of this railing is its movable support post design. The support posts can be adjusted to accommodate the actual slope of your staircase. This allows the handrail to adapt to a wide variety of stair angles and follow the natural angle of your stairs.

Heavy-Duty 8 mm Steel Mounting Plates
The support posts are secured using substantial steel mounting plates engineered to provide a strong connection to the staircase.

· Mounting plate thickness: 8 mm / approximately 0.31 inch
After installation, the mounting screws are covered with hand-forged decorative masking covers. These forged covers conceal the mounting hardware and create a clean, finished appearance that complements the handcrafted railing.

Standard length options are available from 20 inches to 100 inches.
Because staircases vary considerably in length, rise and angle, we also welcome custom dimensions. If you need a size that is not available in the standard options, contact us with your measurements. We can create the railing specifically for your staircase.
Handrails Longer Than 48 Inches
Handrails longer than 48 inches include an additional support post for increased stability.
For secure and practical shipping, handrails longer than 48 inches are supplied in two sections.
The two sections connect using an exceptionally strong joining system. The joint follows the same hand-forged texture as the rest of the handrail, allowing the connection to become virtually invisible after assembly and installation. Once installed, the railing visually appears to be one continuous hand-forged piece.
Hand-Forged Wood Texture
The surface of the metal is individually worked to create an organic texture inspired by natural wood and tree branches. The forged grooves and irregularities catch the hand-applied patina differently across the surface, emphasizing the depth and character of the metal.
Because this texture is created by hand, slight differences between individual pieces are expected. They are not imperfections; they are part of the character of genuine handmade metalwork. No two handrails are exactly identical.
